Staying with a British Family gives you the opportunity to immerse yourself in British family life and experience how British people communicate outside the classroom. Daily contact with the family improves your understanding of English and gives you more chances to practice what you have learnt. All our welcoming local families have been personally interviewed by our staff and are regularly inspected to ensure our standards are met.
Homestay includes two meals daily during the week, and three meals daily at weekends. Some homes are very close to the school and all are within 30 minutes travelling time depending on traffic.
Standard Homestay: Your own private room, and full use of the family facilities.
Executive Homestay: Your own private room, a private shower or bathroom and toilet, and full use of family facilities.

Availability: Brighton is a popular destination for visitors. Accommodation of all types is subject to availability. We recommend you book well in advance to avoid disappointment.

Our representatives can meet you at any of the main airports) or Eurostar terminals and bring you directly to your accommodation in Brighton. Just let us know your arrival details when you apply and we will be there to meet you, even if your flight has been delayed.
becoming a host family
If you are thinking of becoming a host family for Berlitz Brighton please take a look at the documents below reading carefully through the Terms and Conditions. Host families should contact Berlitz’s Accommodation department to ensure they fall within Berlitz catchment area. However, on the whole host families should be no further than a 25 minute bus journey to Brighton’s Churchill Square. If you would like to apply please return the following forms.
