booking and payment
- Return your application form with 10% of the course fee and a £75 refundable registration fee.
- Include £50 for your Accommodation Registration Fee (ARF) if you have asked us to arrange accommodation for you.
- We will send you written confirmation of your booking after we have received your completed booking form and the initial payment.
- The remaining 90% of the course fee must be paid at least 30 days before you arrive. The £75 Registration Fee is incorporated in the total cost of the course at this time.
- If your total fees are not paid at least 30 days befire you arrive, your course and accommodation may be cancelled.
cancellation
- If you cancel 30 or more days before the course, we will refund all fees less bank charges.
- If you cancel 10 or more days (but less than 30 days) before your planned arrival then you will have to pay a cancellation fee of 25% of the booking.
- If you cancel less than ten days before your planned arrival then you will have to pay a cancellation fee of 50% of the cost of the booking.
visas
- If you are unable to obtain a suitable visa then we would be happy to postpone your course for up to 12 months to give you time to obtain a visa.
- If you are finally refused a visa and provide written evidence to show this, then we will return your 10% deposit, but keep you £75 Application Fee to cover administration costs.
accommodation
- Accommodation of all types is subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed at the time of booking.
junior courses
- If a student behaves in disruptive manner, does not follow the school rules or engages in illegal activity he/she will immediately be sent home at the parent's expense.
- All students must follow the rules of the school (and the homestay family if applicable). Unless on a supervised activity forming part of the course students under 16 should be home by 21:30, and those under 18 by 22:30.
- The school does not accept responsibility for loss or damage to personal items or money that have not been given to the school for safekeeping.
- Full details of medical conditions, and a signed medical declaration must be completed.
other
- We strongly reccommend that you arrange your own medical and travel insurance.
- Berlitz Brighton does not accept responsibility for any loss or injury sustained by a student however caused.
- Once a course has commenced lessons cannot be postponed, assigned, transferred, or refunded for any reason.
- All students must comply with the rules and regulations of Berlitz Brighton Language Centre, available on arrival in the student handbook.
- All course fees are quoted per person and unless stated do not include any course materials.
- Berlitz Brighton is a non smoking environment and CCTV cameras are in operation at out centres for security and pedagogical reasons.
